ACCOMMODATION
What are the accommodation options?
Students can choose either Host family or Student Housing. We offer the following options:
Homestay Half-board (2 meals): Breakfast and dinner included.
Adult Shared Room Homestay (Half-board/Full board): Ideal option for couples. Students can choose two or three meals.
Homestay Full board (3 meals): Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Adult Student House: Students share the kitchen to prepare their own meals.
Adult Shared Room Student House: Ideal option for couples. Students share the kitchen to prepare their own meals.
Can I change my host family?
It is possible to relocate with a different Host Family if the change is requested for justified reasons
When will I receive the profile of the family?
Once the student makes the first payment, ATPAL sends the profile of the family.
FEES
What is included in the fees?
It includes your course, registration, textbooks, placement test, accommodation and transportation from/to the airport (optional), workshops, cultural activities, orientation session, and ATPAL certificate.
What are the methods of payment?
You can pay by credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard), or cash.
Can I pay for the course in instalments?
You can pay monthly depending on the number of weeks you wish to study with us.
Can I pay in my local currency?
You can contact your bank for more information on exchange rates, as payment must be made in Canadian currency.

What is your teaching methodology?
Our teaching methodology is unique, as we understand the importance of not only learning the language but also having better access to today's labor market. Our classes focus on oral production (70%), with a 30% faster learning rate. This is your opportunity to learn a new language in an in-person or online academic and cultural environment.

Do you offer courses online?

Do I need a level test before starting the course?
Not necessarily! If the student does not want to take a level test before starting the course, we will provide assistance during our orientation week.
Do you only offer English classes?
Our school is located in Montreal, the largest bilingual city in Canada and North America. For this reason, we offer highly efficient courses in both English and French.
Will I get a certificate at the end of my course?
Yes! The ATPAL certificate is contingent on the number of level tests the student takes during the course.
